I'm gazing from the distance

x The Fanlistings
This fanlisting was twice approved by The Fanlistings, and The Anime Fanlistings and is dedicated to the song, Winter Sleep performed by OLIVIA. It appears as the fourth ending to the anime/manga series NANA.
Am I ever going to feel myself again?
After the release of her album, The Lost Lolli, OLIVIA took a two year hiatus from the Japanese music industry. Once the NANA anime was to come out, creator Yazawa Ai requested that the young artist portray the singing voice of Reira, Trapnest's vocalist. OLIVIA released her first single A Little Pain under OLIVIA inspi' REIRA (TRAPNEST) and reached #8 on the Oricon (Japanese music-chart). Since then, OLIVIA has had nothing but success and has released numerous singles, a mini-album and a full album sicne then.
I'm lost in a deep winter sleep
Winter Sleep, as mentioned was the fourth ending to NANA, and is performed by OLIVIA under the name, OLIVIA inspi' REIRA (TRAPNEST). This song was released February 28, 2007 and is the young singer's third album featuring songs and singles for the series - some which appear and others that have not. While I have yet to find an interview where she speaks about this song in terms of Reira, in a way you could interpert it as she's singing to the person she loves and asking for them to unfreeze her heart and allow her to be herself.
Will you hold me now?
I absolutely love this song. Though I had not heard of OLIVIA prior to her release of A Little Pain, I have come to be a huge fan of hers. I'm fond of all of her songs and you can definatly see her growth from her very first release until now. While I was taken aback by her first track as Reira, Winter Sleep struck a cord in me that the others did not. I felt that I related to this song with a few relationships I have and it just left something in me. I think this song just wraps up Reira's feelings and gives an insight to fans. Winter Sleep is just an amazing song and I definatly hope you'll come to love it as much as I have. :D
